Every other blue moon, or even less regular, one item catches one’s attention enough to say that one wants that thing badly. I think I just had one of those moments seeing what is sadly only a concept design^[1] by Mateusz Glówka.

Block Valve Amplifier by Mateusz Glowka

If ever this finds production, trust me one will be mine^[2], even more if it were to be released as a high end surround amplifier.

Valve amplifier BLOCK is designed according to HI-FI audio rules. Components which spread most electromagnetic interference (AC, power transformers, chokes) are placed in closed compartments further away from audio lines. The main sound board rises on hinges to enable dusting electronics without the need to disconnect anything. The amplifier is made from stainless steel and aluminum.
