German XDA member Maui has reported first success with his ICS mod for the Samsung Galaxy Note. Note users who don’t fear flashing their device, and voiding warranty, might want to keep an eye on the development especially since we might have to wait until April 2012 for the official version released by Samsung.

After having used a Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Honeycomb 3.1 I must admit that while the Samsung Galaxy Note an awesome device is, the step ‘down’ to Gingerbread leaves me wanting more. I find the Honeycomb (design) experience highly superior and especially the browser is a premium experience compared to Android 2.x
